Hopedale Massachusetts was once known as the hometown of the Draper Corporation, that manufactured textile equipment sold worldwide. The Draper family developed several businesses in Hopedale and was very generous to the town by contributing to the development of the towns infrastructure by donating town buildings, roads and parks.
Hopedale Massachusetts was seen on ABC TV in "My Kind of Town" in 2005. Aerosmith's guitarist Joe Perry grew up in Hopedale Massachusetts and went to Hopedale High School.
Hopedale is located in south central Massachusetts just north of Mendon and Blackstone and the state of Rhode Island.
